Lazada is an eCommerce marketplace that lets you list your products on their site without having to invest upfront. Still, there are a couple of fees that you need to know about. These are the commission, payment, and shipping fees. If you’re a marketplace seller, you can likely make sales without having to share a part of your profit with Lazada. But if you’re a brand or an authorized reseller of a particular company, that’s when certain commission rates will apply. The policies on the fees can be different per market. Lazada Philippines
Lazada Philippines doesn’t have a fixed fee for selling. The fees are contingent upon the prices that you set as a seller as well as the default commission rate of a product category. In particular, the types of fees you need to pay are commission fees, payment fees, and shipping fees.

As for the shipping fee, the seller and customer pay for it half and half. The customer pays for the shipping fee in correspondence to the dimensions of the product input by the seller. Meanwhile, the seller shipping fee follows the package dimensions as calculated by Lazada itself.
When a package has been delivered to the customer’s address, the shipping fee is transferred to the account of the seller. And so Lazada deducts the amount from the account of the seller at the end of the billing cycle.

Marketplace sellers don’t have a Lazada commission.
Both Lazmall and marketplace sellers have to pay a payment gateway fee of 2.68% though.
Lazmall sellers have to pay the payment gateway fees on top of their category Lazmall commission.

MY follows the same Lazasa seller fee for commission as Lazada PH. All marketplace sellers enjoy 0% commission in all product categories whereas the table above applies to the commission rate per category for LazMall items.
The only difference is that Malaysia uses a formula to calculate the overall commission fee for LazMall items.
Commission Fee = Listing Price x Commission Rate Per Category
There is also a formula for the payment fee calculation.
Payment Gateway Fee = Listing Price x 2% of The Indicated Commission Rate Per Category
Take note that the commission and payment fees are still subject to SST. At this time of writing, SST is set at 6%.
As for the shipping fee, it is calculated in correspondence to the item’s actual chargeable weight and the chargeable weight according to the rates of your courier provider. As of this time of writing, the seller shipping fee has been converted to $2.49 whereas in the past, the seller shipping fee was based on 3PL and product weight.
On the other hand, the formula for the payment gateway fee is as follows:
2% x (Listing Price – Voucher + [Customer Shipping Fee])
Lazada Indonesia
Lazada ID sellers can enjoy 0% commission fees in the marketplace and LazMall. They won’t have to pay for shipping fees as long as they choose JNE as their courier. Lazada ID is the one that pays JNE for its services. With that, sellers only have to settle the payment gateway fee of 1.8%.
